Mental Health Week / Day / Month is celebrated all around Australia, with each state and territory adopting their own theme, and hosting their own events each year.
The best way you can help to spread the word about positive mental health and wellbeing is by attending or hosting an event in your community or workplace during Mental Health Week.
The aim is to increase mental wellbeing by encouraging everyone to support and look out for each other, by promoting mental health discussions and learning the ‘language’ of expressing feelings, both good and bad, and by continually raising awareness of mental health issues to help reduce the stigma of seeking assistance.
