- Train in injury prevention topics such as manual handling and workstation ergonomics
- Facilitate ergonomic reviews of workplace design and suitability for employees
- Conduct manual handling assessments to determine if workers are at risk of injury
- Conduct fitness for work assessments to determine whether an injured or ill worker can meet role requirements
